Although today's tractors are the safest, they are still involved in many farm accidents. Seat belts, power take-off (PTO) shields, traveling lights, automatic hydraulic oil shut-offs, and rollover protective structures (ROPS) are standard on most new tractors. They are all effective in helping prevent accidents and fatalities.
