Vehicles with $300 or more in unpaid tickets including late fees is subject to tow at the vehicle owner’s expense. Transportation Services reserves the right to tow or immobilize any illegally parked or unauthorized vehicle at its discretion on a case-by-case basis.

Private companies contracting with the university provide towing. Cost of towing and storage is paid directly to the tow company. By law, after the tow mechanism is attached, the tow company is responsible for the vehicle even if it has not yet been removed from university property. Tow companies are expected to treat everyone professionally and courteously. All damage claims must be made directly to the tow company.
